I took a pill and now I can't
Remember your name
The prescription that the doctor wrote was
Supposed to keep me sane
Now I'm faced with a huge list
Of side effects and pains
I wish I'd never started playing with
The chemistry in my brain

The pills that he gave me
Had many side effects
Fever, chills, coughing, aching throat
Longness and shortness of breath
Palpitations, constipation
Ophelia complex
Diarrhea, incontinence
And risk of sudden death

Balance problems, dizziness
Headaches and feeling down
Swollen blistered peeling skin
Vomit like coffee grounds
Feeling sleepy, insomnia
Confusion, cotton mouth
Hallucinations, amputations
And problems down south

Face droopiness on one side
Ringing in the ears
Four hour long painful erections
Spurting bloody tears
Feeling faint, passing out
A heightened sense of fear
All of this was worth it
To forget your name my dear

Don't take it if you're allergic to it
How do I find out?
Don't operate heavy equipment
You'll be drowsy beyond doubt
That bump's probably malignant
Is this gangrene or gout?
The prescription that the doctor wrote was
Supposed to help me out

I took a pill and now your name
Is lost in a
I took a pill and now your name
Is lost in a
I took a pill and now your name
Is lost in a
I took a pill and now your name
Is lost in a blackout
