I've been playing clawhammer banjo for quite a while. I am playing more longneck banjo lately and decided to work out a version of "Cold Rain and Snow," but not the familiar Dead version. Obray Ramsey has a beautiful version for three-finger banjo. I worked out some of his picking for melodic clawhammer but it's a bit unwieldy. I'll keep working on that.
In the meantime since it's a snowy day here in Longmont, CO and I wanted to bang it out. Please let me know what you think.
